Health effects:
Carbonated water: Carbonated water -- also known as sparkling water, seltzer water or soda water -- is simply plain water that's been infused with carbon dioxide. The process of creating carbonated water doesn't add sugar, sodium, calories or caffeine. Hydration is vital to good health and, luckily, carbonating water hydrates just as well as still water, according to registered dietitian Jennifer McDaniel on Business Insider. Health effects of good hydration include better concentration, decreased risk of constipation, proper heart and kidney function, body temperature regulation and softer, more elastic skin.
Phosphoric acid- in its pure form is a colorless, odorless crystal extracted from rocks with sulfuric acid or by burning off elemental phosphorus and adding water to the byproduct. It’s a corrosive acid and can form toxic fumes when it comes into contact with alcohols, ketones and other organic compounds. It’s used in fertilizers, livestock feed, soaps, polishes, dyes, polishing metals and in many other nonfood products. It’s added to soft drinks to provide a sharper, tangy taste and to help slow the growth of molds and bacteria in sugary
Caffeine: Caffeine can increase blood pressure in non-habitual consumers High blood pressure is associated with an increase in strokes, and cerebral vascular disease, which in turn increase the risk of multi infact dementia. Caffeine may reduce control of fine motor movements. Low doses of caffeine show increased alertness and decreased fatigue
Chemical Name of the product Dr Pepper:
Dr. Pepper is definitely a mixture of compounds & is not a compound itself. Some of the compounds are sugar, carbonated water, caffeine ---------à C6H12O6+H2Co3+C8H10N402

How the ingredients are made:
Carbonated water  in siphons is made by chilling filtered plainwater to 8 °C (46 °F) or below, optionally adding a sodium or potassium based alkaline compound such as sodium bicarbonate to reduce acidity, and then pressurizing the water with carbon dioxide.

Phosphoric acid is produced from fluorapatite, known as phosphate rock, 3Ca3(PO4)2.CaF2, by the addition of concentrated (93%) sulfuric acid in a series of well-stirred reactors. This results in phosphoric acid and calcium sulfate (gypsum) plus other insoluble impurities.
1.      Caffeine occurs naturally in more than 60 plants including coffee beans, tea leaves, kola nuts used to flavor soft drink colas, and cacao pods used to make chocolate products. Man-made caffeine is sometimes added to foods, drinks, and medicines.

Physical properties: Color, density, Co2 dissolved, dissolved sugar
Chemical properties: acid, bubbly releasing, CO2 (Carbon Oxygen)

Purpose of including ingredient in product:
These ingredients are included in the product because without the ingredients, the product would be totally different. For example, Dr Pepper is a soda & every soda spices the throat due to it’s chemicals which is basically because of the sodium, Sodium’s chemical name is Na. Sodium is a member of the alkali metals family. The alkali family consists of elements in Group 1 (IA) of the periodic table. The periodic table is a chart that shows how chemical elements are related to one another. Other Group 1 (IA) elements are lithium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, and francium. The members of the alkali metals family are among the most active elements.

1.      This is the structure of one of the ingredients of Dr Pepper. One of Dr. Pepper’s ingredients is Sodium Benzoate. Sodium benzoate has the chemical formula NaC7H5O2; it is a widely used food preservative, with E number E211. It is the sodium salt of benzoic acid and exists in this form when dissolved in water. It can be produced by reacting sodium hydroxide with benzoic acid.

The chemical formula of Dr. Pepper is C6H12O6 + H2Co3 +C8H10N402, so the first part is C6H12O6 + H2Co3 which is the first picture & it’s second part of it’s chemical formula.

Dr. Peppers come in a couple different containers. Some are in bottles n others might come in plastic. & mostly all restaurants have it as an offering drink. It is usually right by the coca cola buzzer which is almost as damaging as coke, As you can see, there are a couple different ones, there are 5 different ones on the image above. They all have the same chemicals but they have a bit of different ingredients because of the flavors. For example, if it’s diet, it one maybe 2 chemicals can be replaced or indefinitely removed.
